With the business focused on building a 'best in class' data driven culture a brand new position has been created for a Data Governance Analyst to join the team.

As the Data Governance Analyst the responsibilities of the role will involve but not be limited to:

• Work with the business to develop, refine and implement data governance strategies and processes

• Development and execution of the data mapping strategy

• Enhance current data management processes, implement data management and provisioning

• Work with stakeholders across the business to ensure data is being utilised and process are documented correctly

• Definition of data quality practices

• Work as a change agent within the business gathering requirements and translate them into action

To be successful in this role you must be a seasoned and motivated Data Governance Analyst, hungry to challenge yourself in one of Australia's most rapidly growing and innovative FinTech businesses. You must be able to demonstrate;

• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders to understand their strategic challenges and proactively recommend intelligent data governance strategies to solve the unanswered questions.

• Strong technical proficiency writing complex SQL queries and experience with MS Azure platforms would be beneficial (or equivalent SQL Server, Oracle SQL, Teradata SQL, AWS SQL etc) will prove highly advantageous.

• Previous experience working in a Business Analyst capacity will prove highly advantageous.

• Financial Service / FinTech industry experience is preferable.
